Excel XP - Multiple workbooks problem

I want to create 1 workbook that takes data from specific fields fro
multiple workbooks. How would I create this? Thank you

not quite sure what you're trying to achieve. You may give an example
for what you're trying to achieve

An example of what I want to do is create a file that has the fields
"name" and "age". And then get the information (name and age) fro
about 30 separate files that have the fields :"number", "name", "date"
and "age".
