excel won't open after installing updates

After recently installing the latest XP updates I am unable to open Excel.
It tries to install Excel with Frontpage and then looks for "Proplus.MSI".
I can't find it anywhere so I have to cancel installation. I've googled
with no successful results. Anyone know how to get past this?
Thanks,
Drew

I tried this and still have the same problem. Is there a step that I'm
missing or something?
