excel with the web

Can someone point me in the right direction - a tutorial or program perhaps.
I need to be able to open, edit, and save an excel worksheet from a website.
It's an intranet, windows-based web site. I can link to the document and
open it, but I'm not sure how to be able to edit and save as a new
document/worksheet. Can anyone help?

Never mind. I am just going to opt for opening the blank workbook in a
browser then editing and saving as - using simple browser technique. I was
thinking I needed something like php with mySQL - some kind of interface.
Sorry for the dumb question. ;-)
