Excel tries to open a file on Startup

I all, I am having a problem when I start excel I get the following pop up
message

'C:\Program Files\Palisade\SYSTEM\dtools32.xll' could not be found. Check
the spelling of the file name, and verify that the file location is correct.

I know the file is missing because I have uninstalled that particular
application from the Palisade company. So I don't want it to try to look for
it when Excel starts up.

I have inheritted the laptop and don't know how to stop Excel from trying to
run this on start up.

I would be grateful is someone could shed some light on this.

I am using Office 2003 Pro.

Thanking you in advance.

Hi all again,

Just thought I would update this, I have managed to sort this out now, but
for those that may encounter the same problem then here is how I solved it:

After checking XLstart folder I then checked the Add Ins option under Tools
in Excel and found the add in causing the problem, when I unchecked it I got
the error message pop up again and this time it asked if I wanted to delete
the Add In, said yes, restarted Excel and hey presto, no more message.

Good Luck.
