Excel & 'Thin Client' experience anyone ?

Thanks for the reply. One thing that concerns me is the possibl
degradation of performance. eg to currently open a file :-

3 megabytes - hard drive 1 second - server 5-10 seconds
35 megabytes - hard drive 15 seconds - server 70 seconds (or perhap
not at all with lockout

yes thjis is probably the most serious issue but this depends heavily on
your network infrastructure. I hope for you that part of this project in your
company is also an upgrade of your network infrastructure :-)
