I'm doing some data entries in excel, on 4 or 5 differet
spreadsheets. These Spreadsheets are small in size about 6
to 12 columns wide, and each with it's own column width,
and are anywhere from 2 to 15 rows .
I'd like to bring them all into one spreadsheet to make a
template, but when I do each spreadsheet column width are
all the same. Some column widths have to be 4 wide,6 wide,
8 wide, and some have to be 20 wide. How can I bring all 4
or 5 spreadsheets into one page like a central location to
enter data, but have each maintain their own column width,
and still do mathematical functions ???

2 things you can try, granted that you mean that you will bring the sheets
into a workbook, and better be able to work on individual sheets because the
other sheets are in the same workbook... and that the column sizes are to
your liking as they are in the original sheets.

Insert a blank worksheet for each of the 5 spreadsheets (default there are
already 3 so add 2). Go into the spreadsheet you want to copy, and click in
the area above the 1 and to the left of the A where the row/column
numbers/letters are. this will select the whole worksheet. then jump over
into your new, empty workbook with the 5 worksheets, go to desired sheet and
press CTRL V to paste it, which will bring with it all the formats, column
widths etc from the other page.

the second thing you can do is bring the data over any way you can, then
click in that same area described above, then double click the right side of
a column header (the cursor will change to something that looks like this
<--> when you are hovering over the right spot). Double clicking there
autosizes the columns to fit the data.

1 is not just selecting the range and cop
