Hi,

It sounds like a problem with Excel/Outlook Express together. First
recommendation is to update your copy of Excel 2003 to SP 3. Its free, but I
don't know if that will help. Second if you're trying to mail an Excel file,
maybe the best solution would be to close the file, go to Outlook Express,
create your message, and then use the Attach command and browse to fine the
file.

I can't test Outlook Express because Microsoft has replaced it with Windows
Mail or Windows Live Mail.

Hihi,

I have updated to Excel before...and windwos keep update

Maybe my English is poor.I would like to say that there is 2 program without
attachment...just open excel, and check email, and Excel close message without
ant message....(word/ppt is no problem like that)

In fact, that computer also hang the OE6 if I open the attachment(any file)
of the mail...I should save the attachment in hard disk and open it...this is
the other problem....

Thanks for you reply.
I have SP3!. OUTLOOK is NOT running when the CLOSE happens. From some
tests, it appears to be after I add ROW(s) to a spreadsheet, then attempt to
SAVE - EXCEL closes for no reason.
