Excel-Subtotals

Spreadsheet with 5,000 lines. Subtotal on column A. Need to bring
infomration from column b and column c to the subtotal line. Can this
process be automated?

Please repost this question in a newsgroup supporting Excel; this
newsgroup is for a different program, Microsoft Access. Microsoft's
flaky Help system gives you this newsgroup as the first option - but
you need to scroll down and find an Excel newsgroup instead.
