Excel Spreadsheets Embedded in Word, then saved as a PDF

Excel spreadsheets embedded in Word are functional, however, once the file is
converted to a PDF file, the Excel spreadsheets are no longer accessible. Is
there a solution to this problem? Can you help?

PDF does not allow embedding of objects...

You need to copy the information you want from Excel and paste it as a Link
into Word (so that it gets updated when Excel updates) and shows up in Word...
 
Thank you for your response. I tried pasting the spreadsheet as a link, and
once again, the link functions in Word, but not once it is saved to a PDF.

Sheeloo, any other suggestions you may have would be appreciated.

How are you doing it?

Try this
Copy the data from Excel
Go to word
Choose Edit | Paste Special
Choose Paste Link
Make sure that 'Display as Icon' check box is clear...

If you don't want to link it then you can simply paste it
