EXCEL slow

I have a workbook with a great deal of data and
calculations being performed in a few sheets. Opening it,
calculating it, sorting, and filtering is taking a great
deal of time. Is there anything I can do to speed up the
process?

You're likely having more of a system issue than an Excel issue. While
small Excel sheets are relatively trouble free, your system is likely
running low on memory working with the larger files.

I should be able to help out, but a little more data would be great.
Can you let me know the system specs of your PC as well as which
operating system you're using ?
