Excel should be able to do log to base 2 charts

Log base 2 charting is standard throughout the stock marketing charts world
and Excel really ought to be able to do it by now.

Indeed, your own MSN stock site does it fine, so why on earth is it not in
Excel by now?

e.g. http://moneycentral.msn.com/investor/charts/chartdl.asp?Symbol=MSFT
go to the bottom and you'll see you can do log base 2

Users will LOVE it !!!

If you want, you can implement your own log n chart by recognizing that

Log(X,n) = Log(X)/Log(n)

Effectively, a Log-base-2 chart will look *identical* to a log-base-10
chart except that all values will be scaled by Log(2). And, if the y-
values are in the original scale, about the only thing that will (may?)
change are the grid lines!

Excel doesn't do a lot of things, but it lets you work around the
deficiencies. How did you do a log2 chart in the old days, with only
paper, pencil, and your fingers to count on? You determined your own
scale, transformed the data yourself, and plotted it accordingly.
