Excel should allow me to freeze pane in a split window

Does anyone know if this is possible in the current version? If not Microsoft
should add the feature.

no it's not possible in the current version .. if you want to let MS know
what you think email them at
(e-mail address removed)

with excel in the subject line and your suggestion in the body of the
message
