Excel save problems

We have a few users, who are using Excel 2003, that when
they try to save an Excel file, after about 30 seconds,
they receive an error message stating "The disk is full."
The disk is not full. If they perform a "Save as" the
save works fine.
This only happens while saving to a server. It happens
to multiple servers, not just one.

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

We had a similar problem - the users were naming their
folders with very descriptive names. The bottom of the
file structure was about 6 deep. Once we shortened the
folder and/or file names - the problem went away.
