Excel programme

When I purchased my first computor it came with an excel
Programme. When I purchased this new computor I was
unable to get the excel with it unless I paid nearly
$400.00 more. I could not afford that. I have been told
that I should only have to purchase a programme once. ?
So I am unable to get back the discs that came the first
time and I really liked the excel and used it frequently.
Any ideas please or do I have to pay out big time.

Did you sell Excel with the old computer? If not and you removed it before
selling and you have the discs you can put it on your new machine.

Other than that, try eBay for a cheaper second-hand version.
