excel printing

When printing excel document onto a HP 5SI network
printer, the document will not print out grid lines or
border lines around a cell. If I make the border line
very heavy, they will print out. This same document will
print at home onto a deskjet printer and also will print
out OK if another user prints it out to the same network
printer. We have done a "repair" on the Office XP and
have reloaded the office suite. The PC has XP as its
operating system.

Assuming you cannot either print out another similar file from the same
computer, I would bet that the computer that CAN print it out is on another
"leg" of the lan, perhaps going through a different
server...........methinks you probably have a LAN/software problem rather
than a Computer/software problem............your MIS peeps could put another
computer temporarily on your LAN drop to check it out..........if IT acts
the same, bad LAN/drop
