Excel Pivot Table Field Headers

Does anyone know how do I clear the filter dropdowns in excel pivot tables and/or refresh this list to NOT include old values. I have noticed old information in them that I want wiped out. For example, originally I had 'AA, BB, CC' in the dropdown list. But now only values 'XX and YY' are being returned but it still gives me the option to click on 'AA BB and CC'.
