Whenever one of our users creates a macro in Excel in a
Terminal services connection, all other users get a 'Read
Only' notice whenever they try to open any Excel
spreadsheet.

Is there anyway to set the system so that Macros are saved
to a personal file rather than the shared one in XLStart?

You can redirect each user's startup folder to a different
location through group policies. That should fix it.
