Excel opens slowly (Office XP Loaded)

I am having trouble opening Excel latley and cannot figure
out why. I have run a repair of Office XP, as weel as re-
loaded Office XP entirley still did not work. I have the
latest Critical updates from MS.
Any Suggestions?
