Ok, so i made a sheet and i have these cells that i don't want other to be
able to change when they go to use it, is there anyway i can protect them, or
keep them from being changed?

Hi Shane,
If you want users to make changes but in the cells you want to protect,
select the sheet, right click in the mouse, protection and uncheck Locked,
then highlight the cells you do not want to be changed and again right click
protection check the Locked box, then protect the spreadsheet

Each cell can be locked or unlocked.

You can select the range and then (xl2003 menus):
format|cells|protection tab
to specify what you want.

After you've set up the cells the way you like, you can protect the worksheet.

Tools|Protection|protect sheet
give it a memorable password.

Be aware that worksheet protection is easily broken. So you can do all this
stuff, but anyone who really wants to will be able unprotect the sheet to change
the value.

And there are lots of things that are disabled in protected sheets.
