Excel links in Word

Linus

I have linked a portion of an excel spreadsheet in my Word
document by copying from Excel and Past special in Word.
The problem is that I seem to be limited in the number of
columns that display in the Word representation of the
data.

Hi Linus,

There is a limit. Seems like you have reached it. You maybe able to fiddle
with the formatting (font, columnwidth) in Excel to get a little more.

Please respond to the newsgroups for the benefit of others who may be
interested.

Hope this helps

Thanks Doug, but I'm having a little trouble buying your
response for a couple of reasons.

1. The Ecxel help menu indicates that you can link part
of, or all of, a spreadsheet.

2. I have tried this on two computers and encounter a
different limit on each, about 10 or 12 columns display
on one and around 18 or 20 on the other.

I can hide some columns in the excel version and the
remaining columns will then display in the word version.

Any other suggestions?
