Hi there,

I have consructed an expense tracker for 90 people, which gathers dat
from 90 workbooks. I have linked the master copy which calculates al
the totals, to each of the individual workbooks.

Now my question is, what can I do to save the _values_ in the maste
copy and not the linking _formulae_ that provides the values. In othe
words, I need to send the master to someone, and I don't want to hav
to send the 90 worksheets with it.

Does that make sense?

Any help is much appreciated!

Hi
one easy solution:
- Copy the file
- copy the data range and goto 'Edit - Paste Special'
- choose 'Values' to remove the formulas with the values

Hi

One way is to copy the cells and then paste the values back in. Select the
range and Edit / Copy. Then Edit / Paste Special . . . Values.

Nice one. Never even though of that. It's usually the simples
solution that will solve the problem
