Excel Hyperlinks

Dear All,

Does anyone know how to stop Excel automatically creating hyperlinks?
I use the @ sign a lot for other reasons and it's driving me nut's.

Precede the entry with an apostrophe '
for example

'xxx@ww

the apostrophe will not be visible in the cell

With Excel 2002 and 2003.........

Tools>AutoCorrect>AutoFormat as you type. Uncheck the "internet paths etc"
