Jacques,

You don't say which version of Excel you're using. I think 97 was limited to 256 sheets
(tabs), and the limit was removed in 2000. I think. Therefore I am not sure. In Help in
your version, search for "specifications and limits."

The maximum number of default sheets in a workbook was 255(still is) but you
could add more later depending upon resources.
