Excel gets hungup when Copy Paste

In VBA. whenever I am copying a large 10000+ row worksheet and pasting a
copy of it in a new sheet, excel gets hungup, eventually it will
continue, sometime it will not. Even the "Create a copy" function when
right clicking on the sheet hangs up. Is there another way to copy the
whole sheet in vba that runs more quickly??
