im new to all this computer stuff and need help with the codes for excel, they dont seem to be working, can anyone please help me, many thanks in advance

ok in excel you have to put in formulas to make that box work, say you need the figure in box c to be made up from a2 x 200 +17.5% then divided by 2.


what is the formula for that?

try this =(((A2 * 200) + 17.5%) / 2)

... not sure that will work with 17.5% in there ... but *1.175 will

Put 1.175 in an unprintable cell and call it from there ... you need a masters degree in algebra with Excel

Nope Not Working!!!


This Is What I Am Trying To Do,

In Column E2 I Have A Figure Of 0.145

I Need In F2 The Figure That Comes From E2 Originally But Then Timez By 200 Then Adding 17.5% Vat.

As 0.145 Is A Single Unit Price Of A Box Minus Vat So I Am Trying To Work Out How Much It Is Going To Cost For 200 Including The Vat At 17.5% But I Cannot Work Out The Formula.
