Excel Forms Checkbox protection

I'm using Excel 2003 and want to lock certain cells. At the same time I
want to use the Forms Checkbox. When I unlock this item and the cell
below is also unlocked, with the sheet protected, I get a protection
failure.


Any help would be greatly appreciated.
 
Does the CheckBox have a LinkedCell ? If yes then unlock the LinkedCell too.
There is no need to unlock the cell below the CheckBox, (unless it is the
LinkedCell)
