Excel files in Word

I have an insert object file from excel, and when i try to open the file from word, it gives an error

word can not open a document: user does not have access privileges..

can u assist me what i have to do
my operating system is windows xp and microsoft office 2003
 
What problem?

Please reply to threads to add to the thread. Don't start new threads
out of context. Read how to use Microsoft's web interface to this
newsgroup to use it properly. Consider using a real news reader like
Outlook Express which is considerably easier to use.
