I HAVE BEEN RECEIVING EXCEL FILES WITH A SKETCH ATTACHED. I WAS TOLD TO
VIEW THE SKETCH, I NEED TO HAVE QUICK TIME AND TIFF (LZW) DECOMPRESSOR. I
HAVE DOWNLOAD THE QUICK TIME SOFTWARE BUT NOT ABLE TO VIEW THE SKETCH.
WHAT SHOULD I DO?

First, please turn off All Caps. It makes your text extremely difficult to read
and is considered shouting on the Internet.

The person sending the file may be using a Mac, in which case you'll need to
notify them that their image is not compatible with PCs.

In the future, Excel questions should be posted to the Excel newsgroup.

See Sonia's reply. Getting images from the Mac that aren't compressed using
Quicktime is probably more trouble than it's worth for your needs. Instead,
ask the Mac user to print the file as PDF. All recent Macs can do this w/o any
extra software. If they send you the PDF, you probably have the software
needed to read it. If not, you can download Adobe Acrobat Reader for free from
www.adobe.com
