Excel.exe Memory could not be read

When attempting to copy/paste any cell from one cell to
another within the same document I receive the following
error and then Excel closes.
EXCEL.EXE - Application Erro
The Instruction at 0x100456ace referenced memory at
0x00000000. The Memory could not be read.

If I copy/paste from a different document into this
document it works fine, just doesn't want to copy/paste
from the same document

Try selecting and copying the entire document into a new,
blank workbook and saving the change.
