Excel Error on startup

Hi:
Whenever I start Excel, I get the follow Visual Basic error message:
Compile error in hidden module: AutoExecNew

and when I close Excel, I get the VB error message:
Compile error in hidden module: DistMon

The errors don't cause any problems, but are annoying. How do I get rid of
them. I even removed Office and reloaded it, but the errors keep coming.
