Excel Excel Drop Down List

Greetings all:

I'm currently trying to create a drop-down list in Excel that will automatically populate other drop-down lists based on the selection in one list.

For example, say I had a DD list containing A,B,C. If user selected A, a second DD list would be populated with 1,2,3. If B had been selected, the second list contains 4,5,6, and so on.

In turn, if 1 is selected, a third list is populated with a,b,c, if 2 is selected, d,e,f appear in third list, and so on.

Has anyone had any luck doing something like this, or do you have any recommendations? I know a little VBA, but I'm not sure if that's even necessary. Any suggestions are appreciated.
