Excel Download feature has quit working

Attempting to download using a web query has stopped working. This feature
has worked perfectly for years. Suddenly, when I attempt to pull down web
data from any site, such as http://investor.msn.com/external/excel/quotes.asp
I receive the following error message: "The internet site reports that a
connection was established but the data is not available." I attempted to
rebuild a simple query using the web query builder. I can see the data on the
web page, but Excel is refusing to load it. Any suggestions?

The problem turns out to be a browser security setting:
"Do not save encrypted pages to disk" If this checkbox is checked, then the
query will fail to populate the spreadsheet. Unchecking this checkbox will
allow the query to work as expected.

Not sure how this setting was changed, but it could have been with the
Cummulative IE browser update MS04-040 (889293) Dec 3rd. After applying this
update, things broke.
