If you are using Excel 2007, check your print option. Click oon Page Layout tab, click on arrow in bottom right corner in "Page Setup Box" (the box that contains margins, orientation, size, print are, etc). That opens sub box "Page setup." Click the "Sheet Tab." Under print, check to see if "Black and White" is checkmarked. If it is, the color fill should not print. If you want color to print, uncheck it.

OMG thank you - Finally, I was about to throw the PC out the window as one sheet would print the background fill and the other wouldn't. Thanks So much!
