Excel Default Cell Format Problem

My numbers display as if they are all dived by 100; enter 555 display = 5.55.
How do I get back to a normal display?

Chuck, Your problem is related to Fixed Decimal formatting.

If you are using Excel 2007, then please refer this link to understand and
fix the problem:

If you are using Excel 2003, then please use the following steps:

[Tools] -> [Options] -> [Edit] tab. Turn off the [Fixed Decimals] option.

In 2003 choose Tools, Options, Edit and uncheck Fixed decimal

In 2007 choose Office Button, Excel Options, Advanced, and uncheck
Automatically insert a decimal point.
