Excel - database

Hallo!

I am trying to find a way to be able to conect to an external database from
excel. The database is on another server and I have to go through a
webserver to reach it. (The address is not accessible directly from the
outside).

Can anyone help me, please?

(There are not possible to use webservices on .NET as far as I know on the
server.)

XL has a few different ways of accessing external data. See the
possibilities in Data | Import External Data >
