First of all thanks for your help.

I'm trying to program a very simple accounting system at
work. The problem is that we have ducplicated information
among different computers and this makes very complicated
to have "fresh" information, so I'm searching a way to
have a SINGLE database, were data can be read/write by
more than 1 computer at the same time.

I've already done 4 programs (on 4 different computers on
the network, all related) in excel VBA, these programs
need to be 'linked' through a database, so we can
have "fresh" data, and everything turns easier. What
would be a better way to go Excel or Access(which i don't
know a thing)?

Thanks a lot for your help

Hi Fernando
without knwoing all your specifications/requirements this sounds more
like a database issue - so try using MS Access. If you have some
experience with Office applications you may find it relatively easy to
use. You always may use Excel for creating reports/statistics.

Another way would be using the 'shared workbook' feature of Excel
(though this has it's limitations - see the help for more details on
this)
