Excel chart in PowerPoint resizes itself on laptops only

I have a spreadsheet (PP2003 SP2) that I use everyday for a presentation and
it won't seem to work normal on a laptop. I used it on a laptop everyday and
then we had to send the laptop out to IT to be reimaged. Since it came back
everytime I access the excel portion of the slide it the cells increase in
size and when I exit I can no longer see the last 4 or 5 rows of cells. If I
open the same file on a desktop machine running the exact same version on PP
it works fine. If I use another desktop machine running PP2002 SP3 it works
fine as well. I just borrowed a co-workers laptop and it has the same
problem/issue as my laptop. Has anyone esle experienced this issue? The
Laptops it doesn't work on are HP nc6000's and it works fine on HP desktops.

I think probably you just need to update the video drivers. We see reports
of chart fonts "stretching" on widescreen laptops, and updating video
drivers generally resolves it.

Since this occurred when you had the laptop reimaged, I suspect IT used the
original image (as I'd expect), which would have old drivers. Video drivers
are often out of date just between the time of mfg and the time of receipt
by the customer.

Excel info cut off or cropped when pasted into PowerPoint
http://www.pptfaq.com/FAQ00068.htm discusses similar issues, but I don't
think it's actually your problem in this case. (I'm including it more for
others who may read this thread.)
