They are being run through a number of sql stored procedure and a
excelerator report.

Is there a function like this in excel - set sheet2!G56 = F45 and pu
this function in sheet 1

I am not aware of any.Even if you have such formulas you might have to
go to sheet 2 only and enter.Preferably you can write a macro for doing
this
