How do I format cells in the Canadian postal code format?

What's to format? Simply treat it as text.

Canadian Postal Codes are Text and cannot be formatted as US Zips can be.

Assuming your postal code is in A1, in a seperate column enter this formula:

=LEFT(A1,3)&" "&RIGHT(A1,3)

You can then Copy and Paste Special>Values over the original data.
