this message appear when i link a worksheet with another contains + 16000
records...

Hola, ¿alguien sabrá por qué tendré problemas de memoria al guardar una hoja
vinculada con una base mayor a 16mil registros?

"Excel cannot complete this task with available resources"

"Unable to save external link values"

Y sólo si mi base fuente mide menos de éso no tengo problemas; ¿es problema
de Excel '2003 SP3 corriendo en XP?, tengo 2GB en Ram, en teoría es
suficiente memoria para hacer éso y más.

This means that when you save the file the cells with links in (to another
file) it will not save the values only the formulae.
When you open the file with the links in next time you will have to open the
files where it is getting its data from, ie the linked files, otherwise the
cells will show an error.
I have several files like this and get up to 4 sets of messages (for 4
linked files) it is just a nuisance as you have to click on 'OK' or press
enter 2 times for each linked file whenever you save the files with links
in.

Thank's Bárbara, but in the spanish version is the answer "ok".
The real problem is with the volumme records in the source file.
