Excel application keeps growing

I have a rather robust excel document with macros. When the applicatio
was first created it was about 5 Mb. Over time it has grown to about 1
Mb. There have been updates to the macros but not 9Mb worth. It seem
like even when I delete worksheets and sections of macro's the siz
doesn't get any smaller.


Is there a way to release unused space with excel.




Any Ideas?

Have you checked where Excel "thinks" the last used cell is on each sheet? If
it's not correct, go to the real last cell and Edit/Delete (not Clear) all
rows below and all columns to its right.
