Excel and Scheduled Tasks

I am trying to update some data in excel using scheduled tasks. I can get it
to open the excel file and to update the datas. But, how can I get it to
close the excel file afterwards?

I expect you need to do something with an Excel macro. An Excel
newsgroup would be a better place to ask.
