Excel 2007

Is there a forum setup for Excel 2007 complaints? I've got a few annoying
issues...

1) The longer I leave it open, the more memory it consumes and causes system
slow down and erratic behavior.

2) Per #1 above, if left open too long (hour or two), the GUI becomes
chopped up and won't return to original appearance. It's necessary to close
it with the task manager because controls and menu disappear.

3) With Excel 2003 and prior, I could open an email attachment in seconds.
With Excel 2007, whether program running or not, an attachment could take
more than a minute to open.

Do I have to wait for SP1 for resolutions?

thanks

Not really. Here is as good as anywhere. Few Microsoft employees read
the newsgroups, but few would read user complaints if there were a
clear place to send 'em. Life's not too hard for monopolies.

With particular workbooks open or even with no workbooks open?

Not even [Alt]+[F4] closes it?

Now you're learning! It's **NEVER** safe to buy ANY Microsoft software
until AT LEAST the first service pack is out. Original RTM is more of
a revenue-generating public beta.

Makes no difference.

Never tried that. The system goes goofy so I use task manager to see what's
eating the resources. Then just close it from there. Close Excel and system
works.

Unfortunately, I was thrown into it because associates had upgraded. Sigh...
