Excel 2007 Will Not Close With Personal.xlsb

I have macros in an Excel 07 personal startup file. When I close an excel
doc, excel remains open due to the personal.xlsb/xls file. So I have to
click close twice. This did not happen in 2003. What is the
fix/workaround/setting for this?

To close all open workbooks and Excel 2007 itself, press Shift and click
close.

This new behavior is a side-effect of the "Show all windows in the taskbar"
feature under Excel Options, Advanced, Display. If you can live without
this it will address your issue.

Probable Workaround:

1. Deactivate advanced option: "Show all Windows in the Taskbar"
2. Reactivate it

For me that worked. Tested twice. Excel 2007
