Excel 2007 Solver Addin Error 400

Hi
I'm wondering if anyone else has noticed the following : On loading MS
excel 2007, when I go to the data tab, I get a VBA prompt that reads
error 400. Apparently the solver add in is missing. So I go back,
trace the add in link, and presto it works fine. Now I close out
excel, reopen it, only to find the same problem all over again. Any
ideas what is going on here?

Can't duplicate the problem here. Solver seems to load fine and I see it on
the Data tab, etc.

Thanks for your time Jim. It is quite wierd.....I tried repairing MS
office...that did not work either. Also, I don't see the ADD INS tab
either....I wonder if its something to do with certain features being
disabled? Excel 07 is so different, I don't even know where to start
looking.

I have seen this error occur in two different scenarios. Sometimes (and
seemingly randomly) it occurs when i click on the data tab - i get the error
& no ribbon. I hit ok and then choose another tab - select the data tab - no
problem it works.

This is irritating but i just thought it would disappear when the patches
start coming out.

Now - i add-in solver. I have the solver button. I hit solver - i get the
error 400. No work around seems to open solver.

Anyone find a solution?
