Excel 2007 - How to stop Backup of...xlk files from xlsm files?

When I open and save Excel 2007 xlsm files I always get a "Backup of
(filename).xlk" which I do not want. I have seen some suggestions to
prevent the xlk files but those seem to be for earlier versions of
Excel:
How do I stop the generation of unwanted xlk backups in Excel 2007?

Uncheck that option box in Save As, Tools, General Options.

Thank you, Bob! Now I get it - I needed to click on the Office
Button, Save As in order to open the Save As dialog box, where the
Tools button is in the lower left.
