Excel 2007-Font color not sharp

I'd office 2007 installed on XP machine. The font (type: times, size:9) in
Excel 2007 is not as sharp as Excel 2003. Besides alpha is sharper than
numeric. Any ideas to solve the problem?
 
Try "Times New Roman" which would have the TrueType symbol on the left
when you choose a font.
"Times" would be a raster font.
