Folks,

I have an issue with Excel 2007 when trying to add an addin, whilst in excel
as an ordinary user:

1) Click the Office button
2) Excel Options
3) AddIns

Excel for me just crashes at this point. When done as an admin it all works.

Does anyone know what to do to resolve this please

I traced it too one of our plugins (SealedMedia) adding an entry into:

HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Office\Excel\Addins

This addin then would cause the AddIn Applet to crash, removing the
sealedmedia plugin from this key fixed it.

It would be nice if a dodgy plugin couldn't crash excel! But its nice I've
fixed it. One for others too note in this situation.

This application can be removed from the "Add or Remove Programs" applet...
uninstall the thing called "Sealed Media Unsealer"

But I actually need the SealedMedia plugin but not the excel part of it, so
I killed off that bit.

Thanks for your response though,
