Excel 2007 Autorecover locks up the PC

We just upgraded to Office 2007 from Office 2003. Some users are complaing
that their PC is locking up when it goes into autorecover mode. This is only
happening when using Excel in compatiablity mode. There have been times we
waited at least a half an hour, and end up manually shutting down the PC to
get out of it.

We tried turning off the autorecover settting, and this has worked for some
- but not all. Besides, we want to have the autorecover feature working
anyway -

Has anyone else had this issue?

I am having the same problem with excel 2007, & not just in compatability
mode. When I save, & the program is entering auto-recover, it freezes up. I
can't afford to use the program until I "cure" this.
