Excel 2007 and IF formulas

In Excel 2007, is there a IF(A2 = BOLD, B2,0)? or =SUMPRODUCT(I17:I1538=BOLD)?

No, there isn't. A formula returns a value, not a format.

How about counting uniqe items in a list and then sum the cell next to it. I
have list with uniqe numbers (meaning, they will not duplicate) and amounts.
However, the amounts can be duplicated. How do I sum the amounts? Thanks
